Cloth diapering… Uh, I’m not sure about that.
I found this guest post on the Krazy Coupon Lady written by someone in Ocean City, MD, so I knew I had to feature it today. While I’m all about saving money when I can, I’m not so sure about cloth diapers. Some things are just not worth it. Maybe if I was a stay at home mom and I didn’t have to worry about Out of Time Dad managing the diaper duty during the day while I’m at work, or alone in the evening while he’s at work. I can see cloth diapering being a 2 person kind of job. Also, my washer is in an inconvenient location, so running extra loads of laundry takes a lot of time. I have seen the cloth diapers and they are super cute, and it would be nice to have natural material against my baby’s bum. The environmental savings would be nice as well. I just don’t think they are for me, where I am in my life right now. What do you think? Are you cloth diapering?

Agree with you and there doesn’t seem to be any sAvings here except for being green. Today’s diaper is certainly not as bad as those plastic ones from our era. This is def for folks with a bit more time
I’m hoping for early potty training! I think it would probably be cost efficient if they lasted through several children, or if you had a diaper service to bring fresh new ones, but neither are realistic for me. I’ll just get cute covers for Toddler’s tushie. 🙂
